Forgive me budget conscious decor friends out there, I have behaved badly. Until a few weeks ago, I had never stepped foot in a Home Goods store. I was sick of lusting after Lyn’s fabulous finds for months and reading about HG from countless blogs, so I decided to stroll in one Saturday afternoon. I was blown away! See pics below of my fabulous finds.
This Ansel Adams coffee table book “Landscapes of the American West” was $16.99. Seriously? This thing is huge! 14X17 to be exact. Plus, I saw the same book at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks prior for $50.00.
This pretty blue ginger jar was $24.99, I was looking to incorporate more blue in the living room anyway so this was a perfect discovery.
I needed a vase or something large to fill a space on my mantle and this (pictured in the middle) was on clearance for $11.00.
And finally this cute cherry red child’s rocking chair was for my nephews 1st Birthday. I was looking for something useful and sentimental, not just another outfit or toy. This little baby set me back $39.99, gotta love that price!
In conclusion the trip was a huge success. I walked away with fabulously priced items that I actually needed (wanted) for under $100.00. When I am in need of a certain something I will now make Home Goods my first stop. I am a patron for life.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend in the sun!
