I was over on Caitlin Creer Interiors, one of Susan and my favorite blogs and came across a feature she did the other day about artist Leslie Graff’s paintings. I had to post them because I know Susan will love them. You see, as she’s said in a previous post she (and now I) are obsessed with Mad Men. We’re evening planning a Mad Men night out on the town with our fellas, where we’ll eat at a classic Portland establishment ((most likely 5,000 oysters if my boyfriend has anything to do with it) and drink Martini’s and Gimlets until we have to cab it home. So in honor of Susan’s love, here are a few of my favorite Leslie Graff paintings.

Loving the black and white floors in these and the vintage fixtures/style of them. I know Susan will too!
If you can’t afford a full painting and what to keep it cheap. She has cards of all of the paintings in the series, which would be easy to frame and hang together.
Also, full pricing for all of her prints are below.

Hope you enjoy them! Would you hang these in your home?
Yesterday, I got my email from 20×200 about their latest featured artist, and it’s one of my personal favorites, Sharon Montrose! She has the most beautiful photographs of all different types of animals.
Below is the great giraffe photo on 20×200. This would be a great in a kids room, of which I know one of a special friend whose nursery theme that is. You know who you are…! Or, just about anywhere else that you would want to put it. How regal is that giraffe! 20×200 is a great resource for affordable artwork, and a great place to learn about up and coming artists, from a group who is always on the cutting edge.

We recently purchased two of Sharon’s pheasant prints from her etsy shop for our dining room wall. As Susan talked about in her post on Thoughtful Artwork, we really believe in featuring things in your home, that means something to you, whether it’s a special memory, a place you love, or on something that is special to you/your loved ones. In this case, the boyfriend and his family are fisherman and bird hunters, so I’ve picked up different pieces to include in our home decoration that showcase that part of him and his importance in our home life.

I hope everyone takes the time to go and check out Sharon’s work! Her husband also has a fantastic etsy shop called Chalk Chalk, which include great drawing of bicycles, radio flyer wagons and vintage baby strollers. Another perfect idea for a nursery!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Talk with you next week, Lyn and Susan
